WE ARE PROUD

The palace was opened in 1936 as a state-of-the-art movie theater. It is located in the historic Adams building. A fire in 2012 caused damages that resulted in it being closed for a short period of time, but insurance was generous, and the palace was rebuilt. little was updated and its very similar to how it was when built 90 some years ago..

We, Eric and Rachelle are the new operators and our goal is for Silverton to have a continued movie theater in its small town.

We officially opened on April 9, 2021! We were not able to open right after we took over due to COVID. However that gave us time to do some much needed remodeling. Our goal is to implement more community-oriented activities using the area in front of the screen. We updated the concessions area and made it A.D.A compliant, added a stage. Our goal is to implement more community-oriented activities using the area in front of the screen by building the stage. This will allow local dance studios, bands, special speakers, or other community groups to use our space. We will be doing some remodeling as a budget allows to put in tables update a food menu and diversify our options to the people of Silverton. We intend to expand concessions and become a fun place to buy sweets, not just during a movie!
